We spent many months searching, driving around and looking at churches, it became unreal. It was all well worth the effort though, for sure. We think we have found the perfect church for us. We even both had a calm, easy, relaxing feeling once we entered the sanctuary.

That was a feeling just from the structure. When we met the people, we knew for sure this was our place. The church Pastor is Dr. Richard W. Selby. This is a fine man, who we both have a lot of respect for. He not only has a kind, warm persona about him, but he is truly genuine.

We've had many meetings with Pastor Selby, as he led us through premarital counseling. Although it is a very serious subject, he conducted it with just the right amount of light humor and personality which made it an enjoyable and enlightening experience for us. He took what could have been very clinical and made it personable and comfortable. We both feel truly blessed to have Pastor Selby as our Pastor performing our ceremony.

The church, built in 1912, is also a Texas Historical Landmark.
